I spend my time making things in code that hopefully make people happy.

Outside making things I spend time mastering the arts of Go and Chess, watching foreign films, reading profusely, learning Japanese, listening to music with strings, going to the theatre and ballet and working on open source projects.

I’ve contributed to many open source projects across a number of langauges and have lots of opensource projects of my own brewing. I have spoken at conferences all over the world covering such topics as testing, rhetoric, creative machines and startups.
