Programming bits and bobs

I spend my time making things in code that hopefully make people happy.

Outside making things I spend time mastering the arts of Go and Chess, watching foreign films, reading profusely, learning Japanese, listening to music with strings, going to the theatre and ballet and working on open source projects.

I’ve contributed to many open source projects across a number of languages and have lots of open source projects of my own brewing. I have spoken at conferences all over the world covering such topics as testing, rhetoric, creative machines and startups.

I also use computers to make sounds, sometimes even music, performing live music programming as: Repl Electric
